I love that Chelsea Brennan of Smart Money Mamas organized the Mamas Talk Money virtual summit for our community. I recently became a Mom and can’t wait to be part of it!
Plus, I need something to do on my maternity leave. I haven’t left the house in 5 weeks!
What is the Mamas Talk Money summit?
Mamas Talk Money is a virtual summit created by Chelsea Brennan of Smart Money Mamas. It brings together over 40 speakers and 20,000 attendees for a 4-day event held entirely online October 21st through 25th.
The summit is virtual so you don’t have to go anywhere to attend. You can watch from your laptop or phone.
The best part of the event is that it’s completely free. All you need to do is register for the event and you have access to all speakers, giveaways, and live events over the 4 days.
If you can’t attend the sessions live, you can watch the replays for 48 hours after each session.
How do I get free access to Mamas Talk Money?
All you need to do is register for the event here.
I recommend joining the email list so Chelsea can keep you informed about all the fun events as the event progresses.
What does the daily schedule look like?
Every morning there will be an opening session and then every evening there will be a live pajama party recapping the day and giving out prizes.
The schedule the first day starts a little later (1PM Eastern) but the rest of the days have morning start times (7:30AM Eastern).
Check out the schedule here.
Do I have to be available all 4 days?
No, you can pop in and out of the summit as you choose.
You also don’t have to attend the sessions live.
All sessions will be available for replay for 48 hours after their scheduled time.
Who is speaking at Mamas Talk Money?
There are 40+ amazing speakers including many big names in the financial independence and personal finance community.
Many in this community will recognize Liz Thames of the popular blog Frugalwoods, who will be speaking on postpartum depression.
Jillian Johnsrud of Montana Money Adventures and Kiersten Saunders of Rich & Regular are also influential figures in the FIRE movement who will speak at the event.
These are just some of the 40+ amazing speakers Chelsea has lined up for the event.
What types of topics will be discussed?
The summit is organized around four main themes:
- Family Finance
- Investing & Retirement
- Career & Business
- Kids & Money
Here are some talks that I’m excited to attend.
Don’t know what sessions you should attend? Take this quiz.
I know the number of sessions can seem overwhelming but Chelsea has put together a solution.
Take this quick quiz to get a list of recommended sessions for your money goals.
Are the sessions recorded? Yes!
You can sign up for the summit with the free pass and get access to all sessions and the replays for 48 hours after each session.
Or, you can sign up for the all-access pass which gives you access to all session recordings indefinitely.
Since there will be over 40 talks, it could make sense to get the all access pass so you can absorb more of the content.
There are some amazing speakers lined up for the event and you won’t want to miss their content.
What is included in the All-Access Pass?
You can purchase an all-access pass which gives you:
- Access to all recorded sessions indefinitely
- Transcripts for every talk
- Notes / cheatsheets for every talk
- Download of the audio for all sessions in case you want to listen on the go (like a podcast)
- Mamas Talk Money swag box for the first 100 sign-ups (the swag looks super cute!)
- 4 90-minute follow up Q&A sessions with Chelsea
How much is the All-access pass?
It’s actually super affordable, especially if you get in at the early bird price.
If you sign up before October 20th, you can grab the pass for $67.
If you sign up during the event, you can grab the pass for $87.
After the event, the price goes up too $117.
Is the All-Access pass worth it?
I think so. I’ve been to many financial conferences including FinCon, Lola Retreat, and the Chautauqua.
I paid hundreds of dollars to attend sessions at those events.
For the Mamas Talk Money summit, you can get access to 40+ live-sessions and Q&A with some of the top personal finance bloggers in the space right now, all for under $100 with the all-access pass.
I think that’s an amazing deal.

That looks like an interesting line-up. Thanks for sharing! I hope one (or more) of the speakers talks about the empty-nest stage b/c we just got there this year, and it’s a big transition both financially and emotionally.
